18 janvier 1964 : Premier match de la Trinity

Lors du déplacement de Manchester United à West Bromwich Albion, Matt Busby alignait Denis Law, Bobby Charlton et George Best pour la première fois ensemble. Notre trio devenu légendaire et surnommé plus tard  »Trinity » aura marqué la rencontre en participant à chacun des buts de leur équipe qui s’est imposée 4-1. Un but pour Best et Charlton, et un doublé pour Denis Law.
