18 janvier 1964 : Premier match de la Trinity

Lors du déplacement de Manchester United à West Bromwich Albion, Matt Busby alignait Denis Law, Bobby Charlton et George Best pour la première fois ensemble. Notre trio devenu légendaire et surnommé plus tard ”Trinity” aura marqué la rencontre en participant à chacun des buts de leur équipe qui s’est imposée 4-1. Un but pour Best et Charlton, et un doublé pour Denis Law.
